District 1 Spring Convention 2024: Komic Kin II

The St. Thomas Kinsmen invite you to "Komic Kin II", the 2024 District 1 Kin Spring Convention!

The schedule of events will include an optional costume pub crawl-style fellowship event, including bus transportation to downtown St. Thomas and back again, with judging for the Jim Sterling Memorial Costume Award at the hotel immediately following the pub crawlers' return.

For Kin not joining us on the pub crawl, there will be music and games in the BYOB hospitality suites Friday night.

Rooms

Rooms are $129 per night plus taxes. To book, call the Ramada by Wyndham London directly at 519-681-4900 and use code "147348" or mention the Kin Convention. Most rooms feature 2 Queen or Double beds, but King bed rooms are also reserved as part of the Convention block.

Registration

Please complete a separate form for each person requiring a full or partial Spring Convention registration. Payment can be combined on one cheque, but please complete a separate form for each registrant.

Early Full Registration: $140 (if received by April 26, 2024; late registrations $10 extra)

Includes Saturday Conference Package (breakfast buffet, hot buffet lunch, coffee breaks and snack break) Saturday Night Banquet and Dance, and hot buffet breakfast Sunday morning.

Saturday Banquet Only: $65

Includes Saturday Banquet and Dance.

Friday Pub Crawl: ~~$35~~ SOLD OUT

Optional fun and fellowship event! Includes bus transportation to and from St. Thomas with 4 venues planned. Also includes a commemorative keepsake instead of a t-shirt, as we hope everyone will be in costume!

The bus will leave the Ramada Inn at 7:30pm SHARP, with an expected return to the hotel around 12:30am, at which point judging for the Jim Stirling Memorial Costume Award will take place.

Additional Sunday Breakfast Tickets: $10

Breakfast for Saturday and Sunday is not included in the room rate, but rather is included in the full Convention registration package. Breakfast for guests not registering for Convention (i.e. partners) may enjoy breakfast in the hotel restaurant for $15 plus tax, or additional Sunday breakfast vouchers for the hotel restaurant may be added to your Convention registration for $10 each.
